The tri-color mini Bernedoodle is one of the more traditional Bernedoodle colors inspired by the Bernese Mountain Dog parent. The mini Bernedoodle tri-color pattern features three different colors on the coat. There can be various tri-color patterns with colors like black, brown, tan, rust, apricot, red, white, and cream. The dominant base color is usually darker and white markings are found on the face, chest, feet, paws and tip of the tail.
Tuxedo mini Bernedoodles are commonly black and white in color. Tuxedo Bernedoodles have a black solid dominant color that covers most of their body with white markings on the face, neck, and chest as well as the paws and tip of the tail.
Merle is a genetic condition that produces a distinctive color pattern in the minii Bernedoodle dog’s coat. It makes the dog’s coat lighter in color than it would otherwise be, were it not for the merle. But the lighter color is not evenly distributed, making the dog appear as if it’s marked with splotches or speckles of color. Merle coats are unique in that no pattern is the same. Mer mini Bernedoodles can have dark or blue eyes.
Sable mini Bernedoodles have an interesting coat. Sable dogs have multiple colors on each individual strand of fur. So, the tip of their hairs will be black, but the rest will be a lighter color. This color pattern can be quite hard to identify without getting a good look up close. The picture on the right is a Tri sable mini Bernedoodle.
A Phantom mini Bernedoodle has a solid base color, usually black or chocolate all across its body, and tan or rust ‘tips.’ For instance, if their base color is Black, the dog will have light brown on his face, eyebrows, chest, nose, front and back legs.
A black mini Bernedoodle is a solid black color coat sometimes including a small white spot on the chest and or feet.
