The breeder certifies that, upon receipt, the dog is in good health and has been immunized and wormed according to the accompanying health record of the puppy.
Designer Bernedoodles Canada offers a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase against any hereditary debilitating congenital and life-threatening defects. Evidence that a life threating congenital defect is present and threatens the puppy to a life beyond 12 months of age must be provided in the form of certified veterinarian records to Designer Bernedoodles Canada. The buyer is responsible for the Veterinarian costs and fees for diagnosis. The Breeder reserves the right to have the diagnosis confirmed by a veterinarian of their choice. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the Buyer has the option of a replacement puppy from an available litter of equal value within 12 months. The Buyer must surrender the puppy to the Breeder immediately following confirmed diagnosis. If the puppy should pass away from a suspected congenital defect within 12 months of date of contract, an autopsy must be performed at the Buyer’s expense by a licensed Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine acceptable to The Breeder's veterinarian of choice. A copy of reports for the autopsy performed must be provided to the breeder. If the autopsy shows a congenital defect as the reason for the death, the Breeder will provide another puppy of equal cost. This warranty is void in the event of an inconclusive diagnosis.
This warranty does not cover viral illnesses, coccidia/giardia, dewclaw removal ,cherry eye, entropion, ectropion, allergies, undescended testicles, loose knees or hips, luxating patella, stenotic nares, elongated soft pallet, umbilical hernia, improper bite, crooked or missing teeth, hypoglycemia, anal gland issues, parasites/worms, dermatitis, demodectic mange, or ear infections and/or cancers. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals or physical injury. Due to the nature of the disease and the inability to pre-screen, this warrantee does not guarantee against Addison's disease. The Breeder recommends and requires the buyer to provide another set of vaccinations be administered at 12 weeks and 16 weeks of age and follow the recommended vaccination schedule by the vet. The Buyer understands and accepts that a puppy may have minimal immunity protection until the vaccinations are completed The Buyer will take precautions to protect the puppy until recommended vaccination schedule has been completed. Precautions to protect the puppy should include minimizing contact with other dogs unless vaccinations are up to date, avoiding places such as pet stores, dog daycare, kennel facilities and training facilities or other environments that dogs are known to frequent. The Buyer asserts that they have thoroughly researched the Breed and its care and grooming maintenance and will provide regular care to ensure a healthy puppy/dog. .
Buyer agrees to house the puppy appropriately in a clean, climate-controlled environment, provide proper socialization, Veterinarian health care, quality nutritious food and fresh water.
