CURRENT AVAILABLE PUPPIES
If you are interested in one of our currently available puppies please read through our adoption policies as there are a few application questions to be answered . If you are interested in a particular available puppy you do not need to sign up for the waiting list, just reach out to us via email with your interest and any questions you may have. We keep our website current on puppy availability.
OUR WAITING LIST PROCEDURES
We have two options for our waiting lists.
OPTION ONE:
Simply click our “wait list sign up” button and submit your contact information and request regarding the size ,color preference and gender preferred.
We will receive your request through our system and add you to our waiting list announcement for the future upcoming litter of your specified size Tiny or Mini Bernedoodle / St Berdoodle. You can find information regarding upcoming litters on our future litters page here.
Once the litter has been born we will contact everyone on the list at once via email to announce the litter has arrived and that the pictures of the new puppies can be viewed on the website.
OPTION TWO:
JOIN THE MASTER WAITING LIST
We encourage you to join the master waiting list if there is an upcoming litter you are interested in adopting a puppy from and want to make sure you do not miss out on the opportunity. Planned litters can be found HERE. Please make sure there is room available on the master list before joining. There is a non- refundable deposit of $500 required to be placed on the master list. The master list deposit is put towards the adoption fee of your chosen puppy. Once you have selected the available puppy of your choice we may require an additional deposit/ delivery fee if required.
Choosing puppies will begin when they are announced at two weeks old. We will email you when the puppies have been posted online so that you can make your selection. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours you will forfeit your spot in queue and we will contact the next family in line and you will go to the bottom of the picking list. If you do not see a puppy you are interested in adopting your deposit is transferable to another available or planned litter.
Please note there are questions below that need to be answered via email before joining the master list.
APPLICATION PROCESS
We prefer to communicate using email as we like to have record of our inquiries and families and we simply cannot do this in any other way with several inquiries per day. If there is a particular puppy you are interested in and would like to place a reserve with deposit on that puppy, you can email us with a little bit of information about you and your family home and the puppies name you are interested in.
Please include information regarding:
Your location
Have you owned previous animals?
Do you currently have any pets?
If you are a renter , do you have permission to have pets from the property owner/manager?
What made you decide on a Bernedoodle or St Berdoodle?
Do you know of someone who has adopted a Bernedoodle or St Berdoodle from us?
Confirmation that you have read through and agree to our policies and procedures.
Once the families who are on the Master waiting list have chosen their puppy/puppies
we will review your application and get back to you if you have been chosen as a new home for one of our Tiny/micro Bernedoodle / St Berdoodle or Mini Bernedoodle / St Berdoodle puppies. Please be aware we do get several wonderful families that apply and if you do not hear back it generally does not mean you are not suited to be a wonderful candidate for a puppy. Often there are several requests submitted for the same puppy, because of this we do ask that you submit a first and second choice puppy of your liking if possible. Please wait on placing a deposit until you have heard back from us to ensure your application approval and availability of your specific puppy or puppies of choice. Generally the application process is completed fairly quickly if we have approved your application. Families could hear back from us within a day or two in most cases so please keep an eye out to see if you have been invited to place a deposit to secure your adoption of your chosen puppy. If we have not heard back from you we will move on to the next approved family waiting.
✈️Vacationing and Boarding
During the summer and holidays we often have families who will be away for the "go home" date of their puppy and are unable to receive their puppy at that time .To accommodate this scenario we offer a maximum two week boarding service for these situations. We can make some exceptions for longer boarding services. There is a fee of $100 per week for boarding due payable with the final balance of the puppy. Final balance of puppies must be paid in full by the age of 8 weeks regardless of the boarding time required.
Upon your arrival home we will have your puppy scheduled to be delivered on our next available delivery date or you may travel to pick your puppy up.
DEPOSITS / PURCHASE
All deposits ($500-$700) for master waiting lists or to reserve a puppy are non-refundable with exception if there were to be any health issues that arise with the chosen puppy during the time the puppy is with the breeder. You also do have the option of transferring the deposit to another available current or future litter should there be a health concern with the puppy you have placed a deposit with.
If you require delivery or shipping, the fees for this must be included with your puppy deposit.
WATCHING YOUR PUPPY GROW
We understand that families are excited to meet their puppy and watch them grow and develop, therefore we do update the website with new pictures throughout the weeks (generally 2,4,6 weeks of age)so that families can check in to see how the pups are doing. We welcome all emails with questions regarding preparation for bringing your new puppy home however we do not offer video/facetime and specific picture requests any longer as we simply do not have the time to fulfill the several requests we receive. Often pictures and videos upon demand are not possible if the litter is with their parents guardian home. When several puppies have been born during our busy seasons this is often the case . We do this only when needed to ensure all puppies get the care and attention for proper socialization and well being.
If you have decided on a name for your puppy please let us know so that we can help familiarize your puppy with their new name.
To help prepare for the arrival of your new Bernedoodle or St Berdoodle puppy please have a look at our puppy supply list .
HEALTH & SAFETY We work hard at maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our puppies and in doing so we have policies in place to help prevent the spread of dangerous viruses that can be detrimental to the health of our puppies. Therefore we do not allow visitors until the puppies have received their vaccinations. We do not allow visits if there are unvaccinated puppies onsite. There are a large amount of reported cases of Parvo Virus in Canada and the U.S. Parvo Virus is a highly contagious disease that can be carried from kennel to kennel or from parks, vet offices, pet stores, etc. on your shoes, clothing, skin and can wipe out a whole litter in a matter of a few days. The dog flu is also on the rise and is similar to kennel cough. These are both very highly contagious diseases that could have disastrous results in a litter of puppies therefore we must ask that you not visit any other kennel, pet store, dog park, vet office or anywhere else that there may be ill dogs when the time comes to view the pups or pick your new puppy up. We thrive to maintain a bio-secure environment for the safety and protection of not only your pup but the other families who are waiting to bring their pups home as well. Most of our puppies are generally spoken for through our waiting lists however if we do have puppies that are available for families to come and meet we schedule viewings once the pups have had their vaccines and are ready to go to new homes. All of our viewing days fall on a weekend to accommodate work schedules and travel time. If the weekend does not work for your schedule we are also able to accommodate week day meetups .
ALLERGY SUFFERERS
For families with allergies please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that any of our tiny or miniature Bernedoodles / St Berdoodles will be completely hypoallergenic. We do recommend severe allergy sufferers to veer on the side of caution when deciding to purchase a Mini Bernedoodle / St Berdoodle or Tiny/micro Bernedoodle / St Berdoodle as generally our puppies are too young to predict how low shedding their coat will be while they are with us. We have had several families with allergies adopt from us with no issues to date. We do not have puppies returned to us for any reason with the exception of a puppy that had been deemed ill due to a hereditary, life threatening illness. This diagnosis must be made through a certified Veterinarian. Please read through our Health Guarantee for further information.
